Stuffed peppers - the favourite flavour of many
You don’t have an idea what to cook for dinner but you want to be stuffed like a turkey? Maybe what you are looking for is something that looks like stuffed peppers! Check out my recipe below.😋
Ingredients:
- Rice (the quantity depends on the number of people, I put one full ladle for two people)
- Peppers (one pepper per person)
- An onion
- A mixture of carrots, peas, corn and potatoes (available in markets)
- Small pieces of potatoes (for closing the peppers)
- Pork
- Cucumbers and cheese as garnish
- Spices ( salt, vegeta, black pepper, turmeric, oregano)
How to prepare it:
- Chop the onion, put it in a pan and add the pork and the mixture.
- Everything is fried together.
- Then, add the rice and the spices.
- When all is fried after 5-6 minutes, get live peppers and cut their stems.
- Fill the peppers with the rice from the pan.
- Close them with small pieces of potatoes.
- Put the peppers in boiling water and put them in a microwave at 200 °C, for 45 minutes.
- When it’s done, get them from the water and serve them on a plate. You can add any garnish you like (I put cucumbers and cheese).
